Founded in 1986, National Book Network is a dynamic, service-oriented sales, marketing, and distribution company servicing North American and overseas publishers of commercial fiction and nonfiction books and audio titles. Our customers include every venue for book sales, including traditional, nontraditional, and online accounts in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Our growth in almost 20 years of serving publishers is based on the successful partnerships we've developed and cultivated with each of our clients. We provide them extensive, in-depth sales and marketing consultation to make them better, more successful publishers.

National Book Network is a subsidiary of The Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, Inc., one of North America's largest academic publishers. NBN and RLPG are headquartered in Lanham, Maryland, a northeast suburb of Washington, D.C. Founded in 1975, RLPG also owns Scarecrow Press, AltaMira Press, The Derrydale Press, Ivan R. Dee, and Taylor Trade Publishing, each a distinguished publisher in its own right.
