NBN's clients are represented by DA Direct based in Melbourne. DA Direct started over forty year ago as a national library wholesaler in the academic/professional marketplace. Over the past decade they have developed a terrific trade division, DA Trade, representing UK and US publishers managed by Warren Broom. Mr. Broom calls on national accounts and oversees six sales representatives.

Every week books are air freighted from NBN to Melbourne and immediately shipped to accounts throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Some Helpful Hints:

• When possible, try to secure a local publicist for a major book you are trying to sell outside the US.
• Paperbacks sell much better than cloth editions so if possible, try to release your books as trade paper originals. Hardcovers are often skipped outside the U.S.
